One of my passions from being a physical therapist is that I get to serve people and help people but with the clients that I don’t get to see enough of that I really love working with are the young athletes, the young kids. They don’t have to be athletes but young kids who are at a vulnerable time in their life where they learn some skills of learning how to breathe properly, learning how to loosen up and release certain muscles and learning how to strengthen certain postural muscles… it’s only of value…
Everything I do in my practice and teach as a part of my business I learned from the age of 28 on… I would have loved to have learned this information when I was younger, when I was kid playing sports through high school and all the intramural sports of college… if I’d have known how to breathe and known how to move with my whole body and been aware, oh man, it would have just been really a positive experience… but anyway, with that said…
I want to announce that we’re having a new class that’s starting in two weeks, the first Tuesday of June and it’s a Pilates for teens class. It’s basically for kids that are in middle school or high school and it’s going to be a four-week camp…
We’re going to have two sessions: the first sessions is session is going to run in June… June 5th, June 12th, June 19th and June 26th…
The second session is going to start the week after the fourth of July. It’s going to start on July 10th, July 17th, July 24th, and July 31st…
So we have two different camps going on, one is in June, one is in July… there’s a maximum of 8 students that are allowed into this camp… so we’ve been getting tons of requests from people to work with their kids, we see kids at the studio all year round but now that summer is right up on us and we wanted to offer this camp… I know it’s short notice but a maximum of eight kids and Tuesday 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. I forgot to mention the time…
It’s a Pilates for teens, it’s middle school-aged kids and high school-age kids and Cheryl and I will be leading the class… If you want to sign up and register then give us a call at 512-215-4227 and Marshall can get your spot reserved, again there’s an eight people limit so act now…
