Do I need to have prior GYROTONIC® Pilates experience to do GYROTONIC® at CORE Therapy and Pilates?

No, we welcome all. We offer Gyrotonic Physical Therapy to those suffering with pain and/or rehabilitating an injury. Many of these Gyrotonic Physical Therapy patients progress to our Gyrotonic Personal Training. We offer private or duet sessions as well as small group Gyrotonic Tower classes.  

Does GYROTONIC® help with core strength?

We have been serving the Westlake Hills / Austin community since 2005 and have seen many clients show tremendous core strength gains with Gyrotonic exercise at CORE Therapy & Pilates. We follow a framework called the 4 Stages of Recovery  with our Gyrotonic Physical Therapy patients and stage 4 represents our Gyrotonic program.

How long is each GYROTONIC® session?

Gyrotonic sessions at CORE Therapy & Pilates are 55 minutes in length. We offer private or duet sessions, as well as small group Gyrotonic classes.

Stephen C. Dunn

Stephen was a LSU graduate in 1998 who became licensed physical therapist  in Texas in 2004. Stephen started his PT business in 2001 in California and then moved to Austin with his Texan wife, Cheryl.

Dr. Andy Tseng

PT, DPT, MOT, OTR/L, MTC

Dr Andy moved to Florida from Taiwan in 2014 to complete his education. He graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, FL in 2017 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Occupational Therapy degrees. After working in NYC for several years, he decided to move to Austin to further his education in Pilates and Gyrotonic Exercise at CORE Therapy & Pilates.
