How long does it take to schedule a cupping therapy session at CORE Therapy and Pilates?

We schedule most of our new evaluations within 24-48 hours of the initial call with us. We totally understand that you want to get in fast to resolve your knee pain as quickly as possible.

How long is a cupping therapy session?

This session is 20 minutes if you are coming in for a Cupping Therapy Session at CORE with one of our Doctors of Physical Therapy. If you are seeing one of our Physical Therapist for Physical Therapy, they may use use it with other treatments like manual therapy, corrective exercises and/or Pilates exercises within the one on one, 55 minute long treatment sessions.

Is cupping therapy covered by Medicare?

It is not a covered service under Medicare and is offered to our clients at an additional cost for only cupping therapy services.

Dr. Andy Tseng

Dr Andy moved to Florida from Taiwan in 2014 to complete his education. He graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, FL in 2017 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Occupational Therapy degrees. After working in NYC for several years, he decided to move to Austin to further his education in Pilates and Gyrotonic Exercise at CORE Therapy & Pilates.
